Parker Martin lands podium finish at Senoia Raceway
Parker Martin returened to the driver's seat of his No. 6 Super Late Model for a Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals doubleheader at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) on Friday and Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) on Saturday.
For the series opener on Friday, Martin transferred to A-Main after grabbing the last transfer spot in his heat race. For the 53-lap feature, Parker was an early retiree with a 20th-place finish.
On Saturday, Parker was one of 43 Late Models in the pit area and made the main event with a third-place finish in his heat. With $10,053 on the line in the A-Main, Martin dealt with rough track conditions but was able to limp his way to a podium finish behind race-winner Wil Herrington and Ross Bailes.
