Jake Knowles collects Top-5 finish at Needmore Speedway
Jake Knowles made his lone start of the weekend on Saturday afternoon at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) with the Crate Racin' USA Series for the fourth-annual Gene Maine Memorial.
With 43 Late Models packed into the pit area, Knolwes topped time trials in his group and went on to pick up the win in his heat race. For the $10,000-to-win feature, Jake ran inside the Top-5 and was scored fourth when the checkers flew.
