Levi Crowl on pole at Hagerstown, rain postpones Late Model Sportsman feature
Levi Crowl and his Wrenches & Wreckers No. 5 team traveled to Maryland’s Hagerstown Speedway on Saturday to take part in the Late Model Sportsman portion of the track’s 76th Anniversary Special.
Crowl opened the evening by starting second and winning his heat race on the half-mile, high-banked red clay oval.
The Clear Spring, Maryland, driver was set to start on pole in the 19-car A-Main, but rain during the evening forced the postponement of the 22-lap race to Saturday, June 17.
