Putnam lands runner-up finish at Cochran with Hunt the Front

Josh Putnam entered his No. 212 machine into Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series competition at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon for round four of the series.

Following the sixth-fastest lap in his qualifying group, Putnam moved passed two competitors in his heat race to pick up the victory. Rolling off from the second-row in the $10,000-to-win main event, Josh took the lead early but fell back to second and was unable to catch race-winner Wil Herrington in the closing laps. Dalton Cook, Joseph Joiner, and John Henderson completed the Top-5.

Josh is currently 3rd in the latest Hunt the Front point standings.
