Kyle Hammer fifth in No. 26H at Brownstown Bullring
Kyle Hammer entered the Brent McKinnon-owned No. 26H Late Model into battle at Brownstown Bullring (Brownstown, Ill.) on Friday for the track’s Turk Automotive & Tire Night at the Races.
Amongst a field of 21 DIRTcar Late Models, Hammer raced his way into the A-Main with a fifth-to-second run in his heat race. Despite early contact with a lapped-car, Kyle steered to a fifth-place finish in the 25-lapper. He trailed Brian Diveley, Michael Kloos, Rusty Griffaw, and Daryn Klein to the checkers.
