Jason Feger visits Cedar Lake Speedway for USA Nationals weekend
Jason Feger followed the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wis.) on Thursday as the three-day weekend drew 48 competitors for the 36th running of the USA Nationals.
After losing a few spots in his heat race, Feger moved forward in his B-Main three positions but failed to transfer out with a fifth-place outing. He also took part in the $2,500-to-win F.A.N.S Fund Dash where he raced to a fifth-place finish.
For another $6,000-to-win preliminary feature on Friday, Jason missed a transfer spot in his heat race and B-Main, ending his night early.
Relegated into a consolation race on Saturday for another shot at the $50,000-to-win USA Nationals finale, Jason’s 10th-to-8th run transferred him into the non-qualifier feature. Sending the top-two into the show, Feger came one spot shy with a third-place outing.
