Mario Gresham scores Sportsman victory at Talladega Short Track
Taking advantage of an off-weekend from Crate Racin' USA competition, Mario Gresham traveled to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon to compete in two divisions of racing.
In his 604 Late Model, Mario would sit on the front-row of the feature after picking up the victory in his heat race. For the 20-lap main event, Gresham moved into second on the initial start and was unable to catch race-long leader T.J. Brittain.
Among 22 602 Sportsman Late Models, Gresham was victorious in his heat race which placed him on the second-row for the main event. Quickly moving into the runner-up spot, Mario ran second to the checkered flag before the apparent race-winner was DQ'd. Gresham moved into the top spot and was rewarded the victory over Adam Cummings and Brayden Williams.
