Top-10 in Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway
Following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Arkansas on Friday afternoon, Earl Pearson Jr. unloaded the Papich Racing No. 46 machine at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) for the 41st-running of the Topless 100.
With 64 cars entered for the weekend, EPJ recorded a ninth-place outing in the $5,000 preliminary feature which earned him a Top-10 starting position for Saturday's finale.
With a $50,000 check on the line, Earl ran inside the Top-10 for the entirety of the 100-lap showdown and wound up eighth when the checkered flag flew.
Earl currently sits ninth in the series points standings.
Pearson Jr. and the team will return to action with the LOLMDS at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway this coming weekend.
