EPJ follows Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Ohio and West Virginia
On Saturday afternoon, Earl Pearson Jr. traveled to Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway Park for the River Days Rumble with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
Receiving a provisional starting spot for the $15,000-to-win event, EPJ moved forward 10 positions to finish 14th.
Hoping for better luck in Sunday's Hillbilly 100 at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, W.Va.), Earl finished third in his heat race but was an early retiree in the 100-lap feature.
Earl currently sits ninth in the series points standings.
