Pair of Top-10 finishes with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series over Labor Day weekend
Josh Putnam began his holiday weekend at Lavonia (Ga.) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the first of two nights with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
Following the third-quickest lap in his group, Putnam finished runner-up in his heat race and wound up with a sixth-place outing in the $10,000-to-win feature.
With the field elevated to 26 Late Models at Rome (Ga.) Speedway on Saturday, Josh started the 50-lap feature from the 15th-position and made up eight spots to finish seventh in the $15,000-to-win Rome Boss.
Wrapping up the weekend at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) for the Sam Pugh Memorial, Josh qualified sixth-quickest but loaded up before his heat race.
