Spencer Diercks victorious in Modified at CJ Speedway
Spencer Diercks returned to the driver’s seat of the TCE No. 21 Modified on Friday evening at CJ Speedway (Columbus Junction, Iowa) for the IMCA Modified portion of the Battle of the Levee Race.
Capping the night off with his eighth win of the 2023 campaign, Diercks followed up a heat triumph with the $1,000 victory in the 20-lap feature. He took the checkers ahead of Jarrett Brown, Drew Janssen, Todd Shute, and Kurt Kile.
Aboard his Rockstar Energy Drink No. 29 Super Late Model on Saturday, Spencer traveled Plymouth Dirt Track (Plymouth Wis.) for the Wabam Dirt Kings Tour-sanctioned W1ldman Watson Classic. Despite racing into the $2,500-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat, Diercks made the decision to scratch from the 30-lapper.
