Matt Dooley collects $2,700 payday in Peach State Classic triumph at Senoia
With impending weather washing out the remainder of the weekend, Matt Dooley took part in the Thursday night portion of the Peach State Classic at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway in his No. 18 604 Late Model.
With 25 Late Models taking times, Dooley set quick time and earned the pole position for the 25-lap main event. With a $2,700 payday on the line, Matt fell to second on the initial start before retaking the lead on lap three. Outlasting a few lengthy cautions, Dooley secured the victory over Will Roland and Dusty Jones who completed the Top-3.
