Brandon Overton snags Peach State Classic prelim at Senoia

Making an early appearance for Thursday’s practice session to kick off the Peach State Classic, Brandon Overton entered his Wells Motorsports No. 76 Late Model at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) for what was scheduled to be a night of testing.

With an unfavorable forecast predicted for the two-day show on Friday and Saturday, track officials were forced to cancel the doubleheader but elected to host a 20-lap Super Late Model feature for the competitors in attendance.

Lined up on the front row via his qualifying effort, Overton won by more than a three-second margin to secure his eighth win of the season. He topped Michael Page, Wil Herrington, Ashton Winger, and Rucker Orr at the line.
