Kent Robinson races into Prairie Dirt Classic at FALS

Friday night found Kent Robinson in action at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) kicking off the 30th annual Prairie Dirt Classic. With 72 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries on hand for a round of preliminary features, Robinson registered the 16th fastest lap in his time trial group which positioned him 8th on the starting grid for the $2,500 qualifying feature. Transferring the Top 4 into the main event on Saturday night, Kent scored a 4th place finish behind Shane Clanton, Billy Drake, and Ricky Weiss with Ashton Winger coming in 5th. (Todd Healy photo)

Starting the $30,000-to-win Prairie Dirt Classic in 16th on Saturday evening, Kent dropped five spots in the 100-lap affair logging a 21st place outing.
