Seventh-place finish in Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence

Kent Robinson invaded Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) on Thursday night returning with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour. With 44 cars on hand for the $5,000 top prize, Robinson fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 6th place finish. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the show, Kent got involved in a tangle that brought an immediate end to his night.

After the crew got the JB’s Salvage No. 7r entry back in action, Robinson headed to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Saturday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Ralph Latham Memorial. In a field of 44 cars, Robinson secured his spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting the feature in 4th, Kent dropped four spots in the 50-lapper to place 7th.
