Tyler County Speedway Unveils Thrilling 50th Anniversary Season Schedule

Tyler County Speedway, is elated to announce the release of its highly anticipated 50th Anniversary Season Schedule for 2024. This milestone year is set to deliver an unforgettable season featuring exhilarating races and special events, all dedicated to honoring the rich history and legacy of America’s Baddest Bullring.

The 2024 season at Tyler County Speedway promises a dynamic lineup of races, showcasing a diverse range of divisions and attracting top-notch drivers from across the country. To kick off the 50th anniversary celebrations, Tyler County Speedway will host a special opening night event on Saturday Night, March 30th, complete with a commemorative ceremony to honor the speedway’s illustrious history.

Throughout the season, Tyler County Speedway will be the stage for several marquee events that are sure to captivate fans of the ‘Bullring’. Highlights of the 50th Season include;

  • The 56th Annual Hillbilly 100 on Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 30-Sept. 1 featuring the over $150,000 purse and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Car Series.

  • The return of the Modified Mega 100 featuring the Modified Mafia Tour, with Twin $1,200 to win features and a $7,500 main event on Saturday, July 20th.

  • The 30th Annual Topless 50 turns the big 3-0 on Saturday, May 4th featuring the Pennsylvania based ULMS Late Model Series and the UEMS Modified Series squaring off in the Topless 30.

  • Monster Truck Mid-Summer Smash: Featuring four car-crushing monsters including Black Stallion, Overkill Evolution, Higher Education and Taurus on Saturday, July 6th.

  • Bullring Brawl: Memorial weekend Sunday Night, May 26th, featuring the ‘Battle for the Buckle’ in all classes and a $2,500 to win ‘Battle @ the Bullring’ Sportmod Special.

  • 50th Mid-Summer Classic: Twin 50’s including the 37th Annual Earl Hill Memorial for Super Late Models, a $3,000 to win Steel Block Late Model Tour event, and a host of cool ‘50’ themed promotions on Saturday, June 22nd.

  • ‘Giving Cancer the Black Flag’: $2,000 to win UMP Modified Mega Qualifier Cancer Fundraiser event rolls off on Saturday, June 29th.

  • The 50 Year Retro Racer Reunion & Speedway Celebration: Saturday, August 10th, welcomes back past speedway racers, legends, icons, and staff for a night of memories and celebration 50 years in the making.

  • Visiting Series: Multiple visits by the RUSH Late Model Touring Series, Steel Block Late Model Tour, Tri-State Street Stock Series, along with single visits by the SCDRA NE Tour, Queen City Compact Tour and the RUSH Sprint Car Series are all set for the 2024 season.

  • Classic Favorites: Such as the Pat Herrick Memorial, Eaton/Childers King of the Ring, Bud Weigle Memorial, Tammy Clegg Tribute, Workin’ Man World Championship, Let It Ride 35, Pack the Track Free Night are also littered throughout the action packed schedule.

Alongside these thrilling races, Tyler County Speedway will host various family-friendly activities and promotions, including autograph sessions, giveaways, and special anniversary-themed festivities, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
