Holland visits Hattiesburg Victory Lane

Chase Holland and his Industrial Dock & Door No. 45 Modified team raced in two states over the Easter holiday weekend. They kicked off the festivities with a victory on Friday evening in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Holland was one of 11 UMP-style Modified entrants at the quarter-mile Hattiesburg Speedway on Friday for the $600-to-win program. He motored to the win in his heat race and started on the pole in the 15-lap A-Main. Hollnad took his third victory of the young season over runner-up Chase Shoemake and third-place finisher Hunter Breland.

On Saturday, Holland and his team headed north to compete in the season opener at Federated Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri. Twenty DIRTcar UMP Modifieds were at the 1/3-mile track. Holland finished sixth in his heat, putting him 16th on the grid to begin the 20-lap feature. He charged forward early in the race and ultimately scored an eighth-place finish.
