Shirley Digs Through World of Outlaws Illini 100
FARMER CITY, Ill. (April 13, 2024) In action with the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models at Farmer City this past weekend for the Illini 100, Brian Shirley produced a weekend-best 13th-place finish during Friday's preliminary feature event.
Slipping back four spots during the 40-lap affair, Saturday saw Shirley having to dig is way out for an A-Feature appearance. Seventh to fifth in the second Last Chance Showdown, which put the Bob Cullen Racing No. 3s 25th on the field, and changing ahead 11 positions to 14th after 60 laps.
Following the team's sixth start of the season with the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models, Shirley is sitting ninth in overall standings.
Up next is the Second Annual Alabama Gang 100 at the Talladega Short Track on Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20.
