Gardner Adds Another Western Midget Win at Ventura

.USAC Western States Midget point leader Ronnie Gardner of Corona, Calif. extended his lead in the standings with his victory in Saturday night’s 30-lap race at Ventura Raceway. He led all the way in his Baldozier Racing/Esslinger Engineering Stewart to beat Cory Elliott, Frankie Guerrini, Michael Faccinto and Troy Rutherford.
