Wingless Sprint Series Back At Cottage Grove On June 25th

Cottage Grove, Oregon- The Wingless Sprint Series will be paying a return visit to Cottage Grove Speedway on Saturday June 25th. It will the second visit of the season at the historic ¼-mile clay oval. The series unfortunately wasn’t able race last weekend at Willamette due to wet weather and has had a total of two rain outs in five scheduled events.
Cooper Desbiens managed to score the victory against the competition last May. If he is to repeat, he will have to face some pretty stiff competition. He has two career Non-Wing Sprint Car wins at CGS.
Rob Lindsey has accrued two wins with the WSS this season. The first came at Madras Speedway while the other was in the most recent event at Gray Harbor Raceway, in Elma, Washington, on June 11th. Will there be a third different winner Saturday night?
Tickets for Saturday are Tickets are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors $10.00, Youth (6-12) - $5.00, Family Pass $30.00, and Children 5 or under are FREE. As will happen all year long in honor of our 60th Anniversary the 60th fan through the Front Gate gets in for FREE. Times are Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, and Racing is scheduled to start around 6:30.
