Ray Rallies to First Driven Midwest NOW600 Sooner Region Victory at Caney

CANEY, Kan. (July 24, 2017) - Blaine Ray rallied to his first career Driven Midwest NOW600 Sooner Region victory on Saturday at the Caney Valley Speedway.

Ray who started fourth on the grid took advantage of a last lap crash between Hank Davis and Daniel Shaffer to score the win. Previous feature winner, Cory Green crossed in second with Curtis Jones taking the final spot on the podium. Dave Nichols crossed in fourth with Andy Duncan in fifth.

Kevin Folk finished in the sixth spot. Seventh went to Hank Davis. Cannon McIntosh finished in eighth with Daniel Shaffer and Jeremy Wickham rounding out the top 10. Kinzer Edwards rounded out the field in eleventh.

The Driven Midwest NOW600 Sooner Region returns to action on Saturday, August 19 at Caney Valley Speedway along with the USAC Southwest Sprint Cars.
