ASCS Frontier Region Set To Kick Off 2018 Season With Electric City Speedway Double Header
Bryan Hulbert – GREAT FALLS, Mont. (May 16, 2018) The long winters of Montana have passed, and Sprint Cars are on the horizon as the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region prepares to kick off the 2018 season at Electric City Speedway on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19.
Returning to the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region in 2017 with three nights of racing over the Labor Day Weekend, Electric City Speedway has been a staple of Montana motorsports since 1951. A regular stop with the former ASCS Rocky Mountain Region, the Montana bullring has hosted both ASCS Regional and National events.
The region’s sixth season of competition, the series’ Facebook page has been abuzz with teams submitting photos of their cars ready for competition this weekend, including defending Regional Champion, David Hoiness.
The 2018 season includes 19 events with a pair of TBA dates on the lineup. Five ovals in Montana, South Dakota, and Wyoming make up this year’s lineup of destinations.
Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 both open at 6:00 P.M. with racing at 7:30 P.M. (MT). Admission each night is $15 for adults. Kids and Seniors are $12 and Pit Passes are $30. Tickets can be purchased online in advance at http://www.electriccityspeedway.com/schedule or at the track on raceday.
