Fulk Captures First and Bailes Continues Dominance with NOW600 Mountain West at Jackpine
STURGIS, S.D. (July 16, 2018) - Ryan Fulk captured his first career NOW600 Mountain West Region presented by Hoosier Racing Tire A-Class victory on Saturday while Nikko Bailes continued his Restricted 'A' Class dominance at Jackpine Gypsies Short Track.
In A-Class competition, Ryan Fulk started on the pole and would run to victory. Tom Peterson crossed in the second spot. Third went to Logan Hershey. Doug McIntosh would claim fourth and Doug Napier fifth.
Martin Hansen was sixth. Duane Haugen seventh. Brad Olson crossed in eighth. Wren Jacobs was ninth and Gery McCarthy tenth.
In Restricted 'A' Class competition, Nikko Bailes would out duel Tallen Hansen to clinch his fifth NOW600 Mountain West victory.
The Mountain West Region of the National Open Wheel 600 Series will return to action this Saturday, July 21 at Newcastle Speedway in Newcastle, Wyoming.
