Soggy Conditions Force Cancellation of May 10 ASCS and SSN Race

Due to a long week of rain, US 36 Raceway officials have cancelled the ASCS Warrior Region and Sprint Series of Nebraska event for Friday, May 10. Officials worked hard to try to get the grounds ready, but it became evident there was too much water and officials made the call to cancel.

The ASCS Warrior Region has rescheduled for next Friday, May 17, so move everything back one week for more Sprint Cars at US 36 Raceway. The Pure Stock Shootout will continue as scheduled, paying $400 to the winner, and $75 dollars to start. IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods and E-Modifieds will also be part of the rescheduled ASCS Warrior Region event. The Sprint Series of Nebraska unfortunately has not rescheduled for next week.

The pit gates open at 5 p.m., the grandstands at 6 p.m., hot laps are at 7:30 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. Hopefully, mother nature will let racing return to US 36 after several weeks of cancellations.
