TOOLEY WINS FIRST DACOTAH SPEEDWAY VICTORY

After two complete restarts, Travis Tooley powered by pole sitter, Rusty Corneliusen for the lead in the IMCA Modified feature. As Tooley pulled away from the field, it was a battle for second as Drew Christianson tried to hold off Jeremy Keller. As they raced for second, it allowed Tom Berry, who was sent tail for causing a caution, to close in. As Keller passed Christianson, he brought Berry with him. With a handful of laps remaining, Berry challenged Keller for second. They briefly raced side by side until Berry slipped by. As Tooley negotiated his way through lapped traffic, Berry cut down his lead unfortunately, he ran out of time. When the checkered flag waved, Travis Tooley crossed the finish line first for the first time at Dacotah Speedway. Tom Berry’s second place finish clinched the track championship for the IMCA Modifeds. Jeremy Keller held off Marlyn Seidler at the finish line while Drew Christianson.
