Dylan Westbrook Crosses Sixth With Lucas Oil ASCS At Park Jefferson Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – JEFFERSON, S.D. (April 21, 2021) Taking on the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network this past weekend, the Hills Racing Team No. 47x took on South Dakota’s Park Jefferson International Speedway.
Going sixth to second in his Heat Race, that set Westbrook into the night’s redrew where the Scotland, Ont. shoe drew the third starting spot. Falling back on the start, Dylan was able to keep pace for a sixth-place finish.
On the Saturday performance, Dylan said, “We just missed the setup a little bit. From what we’d seen, and heard, we setup for a chance at taking rubber and it didn’t so we ended loose, then I ended up missing the line in one and two, so that let a few drivers past me. Just one of those deals racing with the National Tour, you have to be on. One mistake, and you’re getting passed.”
Looking ahead to his weekend, Westbrook will be in action at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday, April 24 with the ASCS Sooner and Warrior Regions.
Dylan Westbrook is a part of the Canadian-based Hills Racing Team. The 2021 season marks the 17th year of racing for Dylan Westbrook. Starting with Dirt Bikes and Go-Karts at age five, Dylan has been behind the wheel of a Sprint Car for seven years. Four championships as Ohsweken Speedway since 2015, Westbrook made the jump to the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network in 2020, earning the Brodix National Rookie of the Year.
