2021 Season Opener Results & Recap

It was an awesome start to the 2021 racing season at the Jamestown Speedway on Saturday night, May 15th. There was a lot of great racing and tons of hard-fought battles throughout the night.

Great job to the track prep crew for their hard work this past weekend. The track was in great shape as it had multiple grooves and a lot of side by side battles. Overall, it was a great night for racing and in total, we had 114 cars in the pits to do battle on Saturday Night!

Congratulations goes out to our feature winners and runner-ups:

Bombers/Pure Stocks - 16 Cars:

  • Winner: Dylan Sandberg, Runner-Up: Erik Busche
  • Hard Charger: Asher Williams +8 (15th to 7th)

INEX Legends - 22 Cars:

  • Winner: Alex Kukowski (12th to 1st), Runner-Up: Ryan Braseth
  • Hard Charger: Brian Hanson +13 (21st to 8th)

Wissota Midwest Modifieds - 35 Cars:

  • Winner: Lucas Rodin, Runner-Up: Dustin Strand (In Scott Bintz's Second Car)
  • Hard Charger: Nate Reinke +11 (22nd to 11th)

Wissota Street Stocks - 18 Cars:

  • Winner: Jonny Carter, Runner-Up: Bob Banish Jr.
  • Hard Charger: Bob Banish Jr. +6 (8th to 2nd)

IMCA Modifieds - 17 Cars:

  • Winner: Casey Arneson, Runner-Up: Lucas Rodin
  • Hard Charger: Casey Arneson +5 (6th to 1st)

Jr./Sr. Slingshots - 6 Cars:

  • Winner: Noah Lewis, Runner-Up: Tripp Nelson
  • Hard Charger: Noah Lewis +2 (3rd to 1st)

Once again, thank you to all of the drivers, fans, sponsors, and track personnel that came out to the show on Saturday night. We really appreciate everyone's support at the Jamestown Speedway and we have to thank everyone for coming out. We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see everyone back throughout the season.

Please join us next week for some more high-flying, action-packed racing on Jamestown's 1/4 mile high-bank oval. Next week Saturday, May 22nd is the R/C Car Night at the Speedway with all regular classes running! The grandstand gates open at 5:30 pm and racing action begins at 7:00 pm. Hope to see everyone next week Saturday for racing at the Jamestown Speedway!
