Chaney Looking Forward to Competing at Home Track This Saturday With CH Motorsports

Inside Line Promotions – WOOSTER, Ohio (May 2, 2017) – After being idled by rain last weekend, Rob Chaney is looking forward to competing at his home track for the first time this year.

Chaney and CH Motorsports will invade Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, this Saturday evening for an Ohio Sprint Car Series show. It will also mark Chaney’s first time behind the wheel of the CH Motorsports sprint car at the track where he’s turned many laps.

“Wayne County is where I got my start in racing,” he said. “I began racing there when I was 16-years-old. It’s the closest track to home and a lot of our fans will be there. It’s a short drive for a lot of our friends and family.”

Chaney’s season in a 410ci winged sprint car got off to a successful start two weeks ago with a runner-up finish at Fremont Speedway. He anticipates another top run this weekend.

“I typically run well there,” he said. “I would expect for us to run near the front.”

Chaney, who was the 1994 track champion at Wayne County Speedway, has earned multiple top 10s at the track during each of the last six seasons.
