FK Rod Ends continues track naming rights in support of 2019 Keyser Wild West Shootout at Arizona Speedway

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (Aug. 30) — FK Rod Ends will maintain its track naming rights for the 2019 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts, continuing its marquee support of the six-race mid-winter racing extravaganza that takes place at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway outside Phoenix.

The 3/8-mile oval that hosts the Jan. 5-13, 2019, Super Late Model-headlined racing meet remains FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway, keeping the company’s name front-and-center in all discussion of the ever-growing event. FK Rod Ends stepped up its backing of the Wild West Shootout last year, adding the track naming rights to its sponsorship of the miniseries’s pace truck.

“We’re proud to have FK Rod Ends back as a major sponsor of the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout, said Chris Kearns, who co-promotes the event with Kevin Montgomery. “With the racetrack officially called FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway once again, FK Rod Ends will certainly receive plenty of mentions before and during the event.

Based in Southington, Conn., FK Rod Ends quietly came on the motorsports scene three decades ago and has become well known throughout the sport. The firm offers almost 10,000 combinations of rod ends and spherical bearings crafted at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

The 2019 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts will pay out over $200,000 in purses over six nights of Super Late Model, Modified and X-Mod racing. Action begins on Sat., Jan. 5, and continues with events on Jan. 6, 9, 11, 12 and 13.

The Wild West Shootout also features the Keyser Quarter-Million Challenge, which for the fourth consecutive year offers Super Late Model drivers a blockbuster $250,000 bonus for sweeping the six features. In addition, winning five of six features will earn a racer an extra $100,000; capturing four A-mains offers a $25,000 prize; and topping three headliners will provide a $10,000 check.
