Schaeffer Oil Retains Title as Official Oil of the Wild West Shootout
Mega Event Set for January 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, & 15, 2023 at Vado Speedway Park

VADO, N.M. (September 20, 2022) — Marking its fourth-straight year of supporting the mega miniseries, Schaeffer’s Oil will be the Official Oil for the 17th annual Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park.

At 183 years old, Schaeffer Oil is not only the nation’s oldest oil and lubricant manufacturer, but thanks to their continued efforts in grass roots racing they are becoming a well-known name and dominant force in motorsports.

“The Wild West Shootout is a great fit for us because it allows us to support racing in the Southwest and be part of a series with a loyal fan base, says Dawn Cross, who is the Schaeffer Oil Branding & Marketing Director. “Our racing program is built on sponsoring local dirt tracks, events, and drivers. This series has been so wonderful to work with, and we’re happy to say we’ve signed a three-year deal to continue our partnership.

As a continued effort with Schaeffer Oil, in addition to being the Official Oil of the Wild West Shootout, the Dirt Track Bank Super Late Model heat winners will participate in the Schaeffer Oil Redraw each night in hopes of claiming the Gorsuch Performance Solutions Pole Position. The driver’s starting spots will be printed underneath the bottles of Schaeffer Oil used for the redraw. The nightly driver who pulls the pole position bottle will also receive a Gorsuch Performance Solutions Max Air 6 Blade Fan ($209 value) to signify the Gorsuch Performance Solutions Pole Award for that night.

“Once again, Schaeffer Oil has continued its involvement and commitment in ‘grass roots’ events like ours and I am thrilled to welcome them back as the Official Oil and sponsor of the nightly late model redraw, said Event Marketing Director, Jason Babyak. “Whether in a race car, race hauler or business-related vehicles or equipment, Schaeffer Oil continues to be the dominant cost saving lubricant on the market and at 183 years old and growing, it is a company and product you can continue to rely on.
