Reed Wins First Ever Modified Feature

Two drivers won their first ever feature races at the Charleston Speedway on Saturday night. Sixty three drivers were in attendance.

Tanner Reed jumped to the front and led every lap to take the Modified feature event. It was the first ever victory for the 20 year old driver from Paris, IL.

Brady Reed made his first trip to the track a memorable one as he took the checkered flag in the Hornet division. Reed is in his first year of racing.

In the B-Mod feature, Nick Miller won for the first time this season. Miller led from start to finish.

Jason Maier and Jerrad Krick battled up front in the Street Stock feature. The drivers exchanged the lead early before Maier grabbed the lead and won the race.

The Factory Stock feature was won by Jesse Simmons. It was his fifth straight win at the track.

Saturday will be a regular night of racing with Modifieds, B-Mods, Factory Stock, Hornets, and Winged Late Models running.
