Lucas Oil Late Models Invade Deer Creek Speedway in 2017!

SPRING VALLEY, MN (October 18, 2016) - By: Jeremy Shields Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series - Deer Creek Speedway is pleased to welcome the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to the South East Minnesota oval in 2017. The stars of the nation’s premier dirt late model tour are set to invade Deer Creek Speedway on May 20, 2017.

The nation’s elite dirt late model teams will challenge a strong contingent of local and regional stand-outs at the high-banked, 3/8-mile dirt oval. Included among those are: Jonathan Davenport; Jimmy Owens; Scott Bloomquist; Earl Pearson Jr.; Don O’Neal; Steve Frances; Darrell Lanigan; Tim McCreadie and more!

The event will be complete program for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, which includes: Hot Laps, Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and a 60-lap, $12,000-to-win main event. Further details concerning the event will be released in the near future.

Deer Creek Speedway is a 60+ acre facility with one of the Midwest’s most state of the art racing complexes. Deer Creek is located just 15 miles south of Rochester, MN on US. State Highway 63. With 24 VIP Suites, 36 VIP Decks and a total seating capacity of up to 8,000 Deer Creek is set to host some of the biggest events in the country. Founded in 2005, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is the nation’s premier dirt late model sanctioning organization, sanctioning 53 events across 19 states in 2016. The series is owned by the parent company Lucas Oil Products Inc. and receives national exposure through a TV package filmed, produced, and edited by Lucas Oil Production Studios.
