POLE PAYS OFF
If you qualified fastest, you ran the same way in both racing divisions on the opening evening of the 4 day Snowball Derby.
The 30 green lap Butler U Pull IT Bomber race started with B J Leytham of Theadore Alabama on the pole, and getting the checkers. Ryan Worsham of Niceville finished 2nd and Donnie Phillips of Mobile was 3rd.
The Beef O Brady Sportsmen 50 lapper was captured by Steve Buttrick, of Cantonment. who outdistanced Shanna Ard of Milton and Johnny Greene of Daphne AL, Buttrick won 10 features during the 2013 season.
The official order of finish for the Sportsmen is pending further technical analysis that could take a few days while a possible tire issue is resolved .
