McDowell makes Thursday prelim look easy

(Clewiston, FL) - Jaedon McDowell took his Wednesday practice night serious and took home the first prelim on Thursday and is $500 richer.

McDowell started on inside of row 2 by way of a heat race win and the quick time overall in Group A. He ran second to early race leader Carson Hubbard until on lap 10, Hubbard clipped an infield tire and broke his left front suspension. McDowell wasted no time on the restart and began to walk away with it in the closing laps.

Second went to Jimmy Smith and Tyler Garey completed the podium.

Randy Bryan, Teddy Williams II, Derrick Hubbard, Logan Lewis, Cory Sonner, Tim White and Dylan Permann completed the top (10).
