Krug scores first win of 2019 at I-80 Speedway on twin feature night.

Josh Krug Racing – Ashland-Greenwood, Neb. (08/03/2019) - Josh Krug picked up his first win of the 2019 season at I-80 Speedway on Friday night during twin features night.

With 11 cars on hand, the Super Late Model class scrapped the heat races and ran two 16 lap features.

Krug started on the poll for the first feature of the night and never looked back. Second place finisher Ben Schaller made a late race one but Krug was able to lead all 16 laps to score his first win of the season.

Krug started feature No. 2 from outside row four in eighth and made his way up two spots to finish sixth on the evening.

Krug and the Dr. Vinyl, MyRacePass, Speedway, No. 4k now sit sixth in the Cubby's Convenient Stores Super Late Model class at I-80 Speedway. He is only 32 points behind Corey Zeitner for fifth.

The team will head to Adams County Speedway tomorrow night to join the Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series.
