First Timers!

Seth Bergman led from green to checker Friday night in the 360 feature on night #1 of the Jackson Nationals at Jackson Speedway in Minnesota. When the flag flew, it was an all EMi podium. Gregg Bakker was battling for second with Thomas Kennedy when he got too high in turn two, but maintained the third spot. With the race winding down Seth Bergman would go onto pick up the qualifying night feature race win. Thomas Kennedy would finish second followed by Gregg Bakker.

Night two would see much of the same talent racing to the front in Jackson. The finale would be won by Thomas Kennedy of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada who lead all twenty five laps for a flag-to-flag win.

Darryl Ruggles clinched a third consecutive championship at Canandaigua Speedway by earning his seventh win of the season over the weekend.

No one was more ready for an Oil Capital Racing Series victory on Friday night at Flint Creek Speedway than Johnny Kent. Kent found himself leading the 30-lap feature late in the race and this time he was not to be denied finally winning his first OCRS main event.

Dorsett Racing showed HENCHCRAFT domination over the weekend by sweeping two events. Drew Dorsett drove his 2015 HENCHCRAFT to a Chandler Motor Speedway victory setting the standard for Rod Henning in the team car who followed up Drew’s win with one of his own at Tri-State Speedway. Guillaume Niederer with his second win of the season at Autodrome Drummond and strengthened his position as the championship points leader. Eleven year old racer Andrew Scheid raced up through the field in his HENCHCRAFT and passed for the lead in traffic before capturing his first Merritt Speedway checkered flag. Sunday he backed it up with another win to close out the season and sweep the weekend.

The STALLARD SST continues to shine when the money is on the line. Frank Galusha cashed in on an elevated pay day at Stuart Speedway in Iowa. Another loyal STALLARD driver heated up the south. Miguel Marquez stood on the front stretch at El Paso Speedway Park.
