HTZ FM Night At The Races Rained Out
THOROLD, ONTARIO (May 11, 2024) … While Merrittville Speedway staff were optimistic racing could go on, a late afternoon shower with the threat of thunderstorms in the evening has forced the cancellation of the program for Saturday, May 11th.
Racing will return to Merrittville Speedway when Auto FX presents the Big Bike Giveaway, and we welcome Ken Schrader for the Canadian vs. UMP Modifieds feature event.
In addition to Canadian vs. UMP Modifieds, Auto FX Night will feature the Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series starring the Commercial Auto Electric 358 Modifieds, Semenuk’s ESSO/Baron Roofing DIRTcar Sportsman, RONA Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites and, Vansickle Pet Valu/PV on the Lane 4 Cylinders
Pit Gates will open at 5pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, and racing will get underway at 7pm. For more information, check out the website at www.merrittvillespeedway.com and fans can follow along with My Race Pass.
