As we headed into Ladies Night on July 31, only 4 points separated the top 3 drivers in Deering Management Group Micro 600 Opens. Cole Patrick was determined to change that fact and get his #20 Machine to the top. However, early in the Feature he found himself in a tough battle with Levi Kuntz. Kuntz running the gutter masterfully was able to get by Patrick for the race lead. This would lead Patrick into having to search around lines to find a new way to the front. On lap 15 he would make the move to get back around Kuntz sealing the lead for the remainder of the race for a 3rd Feature win on the season. Macie Logsdon would benefit from a late caution and a incredible restart to bounce back for a 2nd place finish, Kuntz would finish 3rd. Seth Waldal and Jeff Little would round out the top 5. Patrick would qualify fast time as well and get the heat win. While Kuntz got the trophy dash victory.

In Adventist Health American Classics competition it looked as if the 04 machine of Joey Tardio was back to prime condition. Tardio would walk away in the Feature virtually unchallenged for a 4th victory of the season. Terry King would finish 2nd, Brad Korpela 3rd, Robert Summerhalder 4th and Benny Sauter rounding out the field. Tardio would also get quick time and the first heat win, while King would win heat 2, and Jacob Myers getting the trophy dash win.

In IMCA Stock Car action, we would be graced with a new victor this season. Don Schott would run a consistent feature holding off all competition to secure a win for the #11s team. Jerry Schram would finish 2nd, Jeremy Brookshire would finish 3rd with PJ Humphrey rounding out the field. Don Schott would also win the dash, while Brookshire would be fastest in qualifying and heat race action.

Moving into IMCA Sport Compacts it was all the Birthday Boy, Brayden Brookshire. Brookshire who was celebrating his 14th birthday with us on Saturday would put on a clinic winning by a massive margin in the Feature. Victoria Chandler would finish 2nd, with Barry Cannon 3rd, Kimmy Cannon would get 4th. Brookshire would win the heat as well as besting the field in qualifying. Chandler would win the dash.

Micro Restricted would also see some exciting racing and a first time winner this season. Kody Greer would be smooth and not make any mistake on his way to the victory. Ryan Bright would be the closest competition waiting for a mistake that never came. Bright would get 2nd, with Madyson Bigsby 3rd, JoJo Batalgia and Dale Orcutt would round out the top 5. Greer would also get quick time by 0.001 seconds and win the heat race in the division. Bigsby would win the dash in a absolute thriller over Batalgia at the stripe.

We would also bless the fans with bonus action as a challenge was put up between the IMCA Stock Cars vs the Adventist Health American Classics with a winner take all $420 20 lap exhibition. All drivers would pill draw for starting spots and we’d see 3 Stock cars vs 4 American Classics. Jerry Schram (Stock Car) was able to run away from the field and secure the Showdown win, Joey Tardio (American Classics) finished 2nd, Don Schott (Stock Car) would get 3rd, Terry King (American Classics) finished 4th, with PJ Humphrey (Stock Car) would round out the top 5.
