I-44 Speedway To Host ILLINI Midget Series
By Ronnie Williams (Lebanon, MO) -- For the 1st time in over 20 years, The " High-Banks" of The Lebanon I-44 Speedway will host a Touring Midget Series as The ILLINI Midget Series will visit the 3/8ths mile Asphalt oval on Saturday May 13th.
The ILLINI Midget Series has sanctioned both Pavement and Dirt Midget Events for over 25 years throughout the Midwest.
The Midget Series will join The " Ground-Pounding" Modifieds, Street Stocks and Chargers on the race card that evening along with being part of a Special on track Autograph Session. Former Charger Champion Jason Walls of St. James who has been competing on the area Dirt Midget events is expected to have his car on hand to challenge many others to keep the top prize money in the area.
