With the 2018 race season fast approaching. Each week we will give you the chance to get to know some of our local stars with our Meet The Driver Segment. Our next edition features a man who finished 4th in track points last year in the IMCA Sport Compact division in driver Shannon Pospisil!

Years Racing – 11 in big cars. 20+ in karts
What Got You into Racing- started racing karts at 20 in cornfields and Dad built a track and started racing there
Car number and what made you pick it- started with 21 as that was dad's number when he raced but switched to 00 as there were a lot if 21’s in karting and no 00’s.
Best Racing Memory – Winning my first national championship in karting
Plans for 2018- Run Off Road Speedway and BCR if we can get enough cars
Favorite Track – Off Road Speesway
Favorite Thing about Boone County Raceway-track is usually smooth and normally dries out ( I like a dry slick track)
Favorite Thing about Racing- family time
Favorite Food to Eat On Race Day – don't have any
How Do You Get Pumped Up For Race Day- I prefer to relax
