Lancaster Motorplex Releases 2024 WDRA Drag Racing Schedule
LANCASTER, N.Y. (March 7, 2024) – The 2024 WDRA Drag Racing schedule at Lancaster Motorplex has officially been released.
The season will start with the registration party at Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill on Transit Road in Depew on Saturday, March 16th from 12-3pm.
On track festivities will begin with a pair of test & tune and pre-tech sessions on Sunday April 21, and April 28th. WDRA Drag Racing will begin on Friday, May 3rd and will go through the middle of October with events.
Highlights of the schedule include the Race of Champions on Sunday, May 5, the annual Nitro Night on July 12 featuring the Top Fuel Dragsters, Jet Cars on July 26th, and Jet Dragsters on August 16. The annual Truck Night will run down the dragstrip on August 30. The Rob Hetrick Memorial will take place on June 21st, and the Andy Mikula Memorial will take place on July 21st.
Mopar Day will take place on Sunday, June 9, and Sunday Nostalgia Weekend will take place August 24-25.
The 31st season of the Jr Dragster Racing Program will begin on Tuesday, June 4 and will go every Tuesday night until September 10th. The popular Wednesday Grudge Nights will begin on May 1 and will go every Wednesday until October 30 at 6pm, weather permitting.
