Jackson/Husets Opener
Two nights of racing and three classes of cars were on the slate this past weekend for Jody. First on Saturday night Jody made the trip to Minnesota at the Jackson Speedway to compete in the Micro Sprints and the 360 Sprints. In the Micro Sprints Jody earned the outside front row starting spot and had a good feeling with a fast car, but a mechanical failure stemming from a heat race incident caused Jody to fall out of the race for a disappointing DNF. In the 360 class didn't have the setup where he wanted it but still managed a nice top ten coming in 6th. Then on Sunday it was off to Husets and their 3rd attempt at a season opener in the 410 Sprint class. The track conditions were very abrasive and tough to deal with but Jody made the best of it starting 8th and coming home 5th against a tough field of cars
