Sammy McNabb Flawless and Unstoppable in Texas - Claims Fourth Consecutive Road Course Win!
Decatur, TX (November 1, 2021) – Coming off a dominating double-header performance in La Junta, CO. 2 weeks ago in his last outing, the hottest driver Sammy McNabb (No.77 SCCA Formula F) looks to keep the momentum of winning rolling after this weekend at Eagles Canyon Raceway, picking up his consecutive third and fourth career series victories.
McNabb who’s won four out of his last 6 races entered, has set the last 2 raceways on fire with record breaking laps.
Sammy has paired with veteran crew chief Jay Messanger of Messanger Racing and pit crew Mike Messanger and Patrick McNabb, the combination team of 4 individuals rattled the cages of others after McNabb broke a track record lap time of 1:59:515 in the Formula F Division last Saturday. After breaking the lap time on Saturday, the record-breaking laps continued through the weekend on Sunday with a 1:59:419 in Qualifying and broke his own record again that day in the A Feature with a lap time of 1:59:359.
Known for his prowess, McNabb welcomes the opportunity on the pavement that he has never known about before until La Junta! Again, showing strength in anything he climbs into to drive, the sixteen-year-old remains confident moving forward.
McNabb is no stranger to short track success – he won 2021 Rookie of the Year in the USRA Modifieds and brought home 2nd in the Points Championship at Route 66 Motor Speedway - Amarillo, TX. Winning all 3 consecutive years in the Silver Dollar Shootout since 2018 (2020 was a rain-out) and winning multiple Championships at Amarillo Silver Dollar Speedway since 2014. McNabb is hoping to catch the eye of a NASCAR Series Team soon, that are developing drivers. He could just deliver your team its first ever victory, if you give him a shot!
