RANSOMVILLE, NY (August 8, 2025) Ridgeway, Ontario’s Gary Lindberg was back in victory lane after his third win of the season in the Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds as Bailey Brothers Landscaping and IMA Life North America presented the racing action at the Ransomville Speedway Friday night. Derek Wagner from Middleport, NY won his second Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman feature of the season. Brandon Sherwood from Sanborn, NY won his second KiPo Chevrolet Street Stock feature of the season. Brandon Close from Lockport, NY won his second Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stock feature of the season. Kyle Teeter from Lockport, NY won his second Kevin's Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman feature of the season.

Noah Walker and Nelson Mason brought the Krown Undercoating 358 Modified feature to the green flag, with Walker in the lead ahead of Mason, Kyle Richner, Jesse Cotriss, and Chad Brachmann. Brachman would take over fourth place on lap three, as Gary Lindberg raced in fifth place. Lindberg would pass Brachmann and then battled Mason for third place. Mason would tag the wall in turn one, with Rouse having nowhere to go to bring out the caution. Gary Lindberg would take over second on lap nine and then would pass Walker for the lead on lap 11, with Mat Williamson racing in third. Ryan Susice would pass Walker for third on lap 13, with Walker regaining the position just one lap later. Following a lap 16 caution, Lindberg would take off in the lead ahead of Williamson, Susice, Walker, and Brachmann. Brachmann would take over fourth place on lap 19. Lindberg and Williamson would pull away from the field. Lindberg would go on to score his third win of the season.

Luke Blose and Tyler Moore were on the front row for the Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman feature event, with Abby Castile taking the lead on lap one. Derek Wagner would take over the lead on lap two. With Wagner out in front, Jake Bansmer, Dave Conant, Cam Tuttle, and Brett Senek raced in the top five. Wagner would open his advantage as the leaders hit lap traffic at the races’ halfway point. Wagner was on a Friday night cruise as he would go on to score his second win of the season.

Brandon Sherwood and Alex Morris were on the front row for the KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks main event, with Sherwood in the lead, ahead of Morris, Dave Stolzenberg Jr, Mike Welch, and Josh Pangrazio. Pangrazio would pass Stolzenberg for third place and then on lap five, would pass Morris for second place. Welch would take over fourth place and then would go after Morris for third place. Welch would pass Morris on lap 11 to take over third place. Nate Tabor spun in turn one to bring out the caution on lap 13. Sherwood would take off on the restart, with Pangrazio and Welch battling for second place. Welch would take over second with five laps remaining, but it would be Sherwood collecting his second win of the season.

Ryan Hessler and Ben Hornquist shared the front row for the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks feature event, with Hornquist in the lead, with Brandon Close taking over second place. Hornquist would continue to lead Close, as Jeffrey Wynes, Ryan Plante, ad Chris Leone. Close would continue to pressure Hornquist for the lead at the race’s midway point. Chris Leone would take over third as 12th place starter Cole Susice raced his way into fourth place. As Hornquist and Close battled for the lead, Leone and Susice closed in, making it a four-car battle for the lead. Close would take the lead with three laps remaining and was able to hold on to score his second win of the season.

Kyle Teeter and Jacklyn Nettleton were on the front row for the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman feature event, with Teeter in the lead. Cameron Rowlands would race in second place, with Jocelyn Just in third. Johnny Zimmerman spun in turn three to bring out the caution on lap four. Teeter would take off on the restart, followed by Rowlands, Just, Lucas Newton, and Matthew Jessome. Christian Soliday spun in turn one to bring out the caution on lap 10. Teeter would go on to score the feature win, his second of the season.

Racing returns on Tuesday, August 12 with the 40th Ron Martin Summer Nationals for the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds. The DIRTcar Sportsman Series will also be in action as part of their championship series. Pit gates will open at 4:30pm, grandstands open at 5:00pm, hot laps at 6:30pm, and opening ceremonies will take place at 7:00pm with a special presentation, with racing to follow.

The Friday night racing program will return on Friday, August 15 as Niagara Metals presents the return of the fan favorite Enduro race! We will also be honoring and remembering Mackenzie Kulesza, Mateo Hope, and Rusty Merrick with the Mackenzie Kulesza Memorial for the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks, plus the life of Mateo Hope with the Mateo Hope Memorial for the KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks. As part of the event, the Rusty Merrick Memorial Kids Rides will take place. Joining the Street Stocks and Mini Stocks will be the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman, and the Vintage Cars. Pit gates will open at 5pm, grandstands at 6pm, and racing will get underway at 7:15pm.
