Beets begins 2023 season at East Alabama with Spring Nationals

With the long offseason behind him, Eli Beets made the haul to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday for the Jimmy Thomas Memorial with the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals miniseries.

With 21 Late Models on the grounds, Beets qualified fifth-fastest before earning a feature spot in his heat race. Rolling off ninth in the $10,053-to-win A-Main, Beets moved forward three positions to finish just outside the Top-5 in sixth.
