Galusha Earns Fifth Win of 2016

HASTINGS, Neb. – The dominance continues for Lincoln, Neb. racer Frank Galusha; the long-time micro sprint standout took his fifth victory of the young season last Friday night, extending his streak of podium finishes to start the year to eight. Galusha’s home track, KAM Raceway, was the latest strike.
With 28 winged micro sprints set to tear up the eighth-mile oval, Galusha began his night from fourth on the grid in the first heat race. Hurriedly, the Stallard Chassis No. 12 was in a familiar position early. Hustling into the lead, Galusha was able to begin putting cars a lap down in the ten-lap preliminary on his way to the win.
Pulling a “2” pill in the redraw meant that would be where Galusha was starting the main event, with 30 laps being the scheduled distance. From that spot, he attained the lead as soon as the green flag dropped, and led every lap, expertly warding off lapped traffic to earn his way into the winners circle. “I must say, it’s a privilege to drive this race car. I just felt like it was on autopilot because I could point the car where I wanted it to go and she just went,” Galusha explained. “The combination of the Yoshimura [engine] with the Engler [fuel injection] is something fierce. Between having an awesome car and a killer engine program, I have a dream ride to climb into every week,” he continued. “Most of all, I have to give credit to the whole team at EMi! These guys are the most talented individuals in the business, hands down.”
