20 G's for 53!
Saturday offered 20,000 reasons for Jack Dover and the TDM Team to return to I-80 Speedway after a preliminary night win with the Midwest ASCS Series. Jack flew his Home Pride backed Eagle to a sweep of both features, including the entire Saturday night program, earning one of the greatest rewards ever offered in Nebraska racing history. Jack said, “What a great team effort to win this for the second year in a row and to do it all on my Dad’s birthday makes even more special.” This momentum will continue as the 53 heads south for the Jesse Hockett Memorial this weekend. Jack Dover wasn’t the only benefactor on Saturday. Clint Garner won the King of the Hill honors in his Schnee Chassis to end the Saturday night program. Russ Hall also emerged a champion of the Sprint Invader Series for 2013, driving a Schnee Chassis. Hall only needed to start the feature at 34 Raceway to clinch the championship, but nonetheless, he powered his way to a second place finish to cap off his year. Wow! Congrats to all.
