Dover Invading Beatrice Speedway This Friday for First Time Since 2016

Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (Sept. 25, 2023) – Jack Dover is venturing to Beatrice Speedway this Friday for the first time since July 2016.

Dover was victorious at the dirt oval in Beatrice, Neb., during that first and only visit a little more than seven years ago.

“I’ve been there once and was running third in a 305 sprint car,” he said. “About halfway through there was a yellow and I looked at the infield at a modified driver who was known there. He was telling another driver to run the middle so I tried it. I passed the other two guys in front of me and ended up winning the race.

“It’s a fun, little track. It’s more so a modified track and rubbers down so I’m hoping they have some water on it and it races well because it’s a perfect track for sprint cars.”

Dover has one feature triumph this season, but is aiming to reach Victory Lane for the first time in 2023 in his No. 53.

“I haven’t won in my car so I need to get that goal accomplished,” he said. “I’m sure there will be good competition. Helping Tim (Estenson) race a lot lately I felt we’ve hit on some stuff so hopefully I can transfer that to my program to make me a little faster.”

Dover has earned three podium finishes in his sprint car this season with a best result of second place.
