Big Game Motorsports and Gravel Post Two Top Fives in Pevely as Big Week Arrives

Inside Line Promotions – PEVELY, Mo. (Aug. 4, 2025) – David Gravel guided Big Game Motorsports to a pair of fourth-place finishes last weekend during a World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series doubleheader at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park.

Gravel has produced 39 top fives in 46 World of Outlaws feature starts this season, which is 13 more top fives than any other driver. He currently holds a 172-point advantage in the World of Outlaws championship standings heading into one of the biggest events of the season – the 64th annual NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s.

Gravel’s preliminary night is Wednesday. He was the event winner in 2019. Gravel ranks eighth in career feature laps led during the Knoxville Nationals with 78 and is a two-time front row starter – in 2017 and 2019.

Gravel has competed at the half-mile oval three times with the World of Outlaws this season with a win, a second-place finish and a sixth-place result.

The team is coming off a strong weekend at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park, where Gravel was quickest during qualifying both nights. A heat race win each night advanced him into the dash.

On Friday, Gravel drove from seventh to second place in the dash before ending the feature fourth. On Saturday, Gravel maneuvered from sixth to fourth place in the dash before placing fourth in the A Main.
