White Returning to Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour With Dustin’s Dream and Life of Hope Ministries on Board
Inside Line Promotions – LINDSAY, Okla. (March 6, 2019) – Harli White is about to embark upon her third consecutive season as a full-time competitor on the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.
White has tabbed veteran racer Johnny Herrera to serve as the crew chief and she’s thrilled to welcome Dustin’s Dream and Life of Hope Ministries as primary marketing partners.
“We’re proud to showcase Dustin’s Dream and Life of Hope Ministries, whose missions we’re promoting across the country thanks to the support of Green Country Farms,” she said. “Steve Butler and his family own Green Country Farms and have been around modified racing for a long time. Steve’s raced and sponsored modifieds, but this is his first time being a part of sprint car racing. I raced his modified last year and we’ve become close friends and now he’s supporting our race team.”
Dustin’s Dream, which was created in honor of the life of Dustin Chamberlain, conducts international medical mission trips, provides scholarships for students entering the field of healthcare and partners with like-minded organizations to improve the welfare of at-risk families locally and internationally. White is also welcoming Choice Builders, Peak Energy, FK Rod Ends and Cole Agency to the team as new marketing partners.
“We’ve been very fortunate to continue to grow our team with not only new sponsors, but a lot of the existing people and companies that have supported us year after year,” she said. “We’re very grateful for the support and we’re looking forward to achieving a lot of success this year.”
The ASCS National Tour season is scheduled to begin March 15-16 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, during the 46th annual ASCS Spring Nationals.
White stayed busy throughout the offseason as she competed in 410ci winged sprint car events from late December through late February in Australia. It marked her second time racing overseas.
“I want to thank Terry Cutts Racing and family for bringing me out,” she said. “Also, thanks to Geoff Murphy for being a great crew chief, the Scardifield Family for taking care of me and the crew that helped on the car – Steven, Scruffy and Zora. Thanks to all of the fans and the race tracks for all of their support as well. I’m excited that I’ll be heading back to Australia in November to race again.”
White posted a pair of top-five finishes to highlight the action in Australia. She also added two seventh-place runs along with numerous other positive results.
